You will be responsible for owning a portfolio of spend categories and procurement initiatives that support both operational and strategic goals. Your expertise in leading end-to-end procurement processes, driving cost and risk reduction through negotiations, and building collaborative partnerships will be essential in achieving business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading high-value contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial outcomes and long-term supplier partnerships.
  • Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including strategy development, tenders, negotiations, contract execution, and lifecycle management.
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver measurable value through cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to influence decisions and ensure procurement supports business objectives.
  • Building and managing strategic supplier relationships to drive performance, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing commercial insights by analyzing spend, pricing trends, and procurement budgets to support informed decision-making.
  • Championing best practice procurement processes, governance, and supplier engagement, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement systems and documentation, including data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
  • 5+ years' experience in a procurement specialist role, with strong expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Experience managing diverse spend categories.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial outcomes, cost savings, and value-add initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Commercially minded with a practical approach.
