Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our National Finance team based at North Ryde.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-end accounting, including journals and reconciliations;
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts;
  • Work with the Asphalt business to drive favourable cash outcomes across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory;
  • Capital management – reporting, business case development and member of the Asphalt Capital Committee;
  • Ensure all transactional processes comply with accounting standards and Boral Accounting Policies;
  • Identify and report process gaps and participate in continuous improvement opportunities;
  • Ad-hoc analysis & insights that drives business objectives;
  • Support State Commercial Finance Managers.

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA);
  • Superior Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards;
  • Experience in understanding complex financial reports;
  • Detailed understanding of Financial Systems;
  • Strong people skills and communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
