Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is available for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team based in the Sydney CBD. As a key member of our team, you will support the delivery of strategic priorities through financial analysis, financial modelling, and critical thinking about the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse financial statements and data sets to gain an understanding of underlying drivers of financial outcomes and identify potential improvements.
  • Prepare financial models to evaluate the potential outcomes of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.
  • Complete analysis of industry competitors and industry data to identify business opportunities.
  • Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contract negotiation and calls for tender.
  • Support the development of innovative patient offerings driven by the completion of financial analysis and modelling.
  • Support the development of business solutions through financial analysis.
  • Write reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Solid experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong Excel modelling skills.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • At least 3 years working in a commercial role such as FP&A, accounting, or some other related business analyst roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Excellent project management & organisational skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior management and other key stakeholders.
