Forest Conservation Manager

Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our forest conservation efforts in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and other agencies to deliver operational programs and achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other agencies.Develop and implement operational plans to achieve program goals.Monitor permittees and contractors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Coordinate daily operations, including lessee engagements, measuring logs, assessing tree selection, and other activities.Travel to remote forest areas, sometimes involving long drives and camping in basic conditions.

About the Role:
As a Forest Conservation Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and sustainability of our forests. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational plans, monitoring compliance, and coordinating daily activities. Requirements:
Proven experience in forest conservation and management.Strong problem-solving and initiative skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Manual 'C' class license is mandatory.
