As a geotechnical engineer, you will play a key role in collecting and analyzing data to ensure ground stability and mine infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop an understanding of procedures related to ground stability and monitoring/control.
  • You will undertake various field tasks, including core logging, sample collection, and wall mapping.
  • You will conduct data collection and analysis for ground support and stope design criteria.
  • You will document rock mass behavior and quality control measures.
About You
  • A bachelor of engineering or science with a geotechnical specialisation is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in both underground and open-pit projects as a geotechnical engineer is essential.
  • An understanding of Western Australian Mining Act and Regulations, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act is crucial.
