Job Title: Senior Technical Solutions Specialist

The role of a Senior Consultant at a leading IT organization involves delivering and implementing Infrastructure solutions for clients. This includes understanding customer infrastructures and business needs, making recommendations to create possibilities and resolve issues.

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to deliver and implement the right solutions for customers.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on-site, addressing technical, development, and IT issues and needs.
  • Learn new technologies and apply concepts to customer needs.
  • Adapt to changing customer requirements.
  • Manage technical problem identification and resolution, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, create consulting white papers, and update the knowledge base.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on issues that may affect project or company performance.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with enterprise customers on development and deployment projects.
  • Experience with UNIX or Linux database administration and tuning.
  • Extensive knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Knowledge of other Infrastructure products including Ansible / Ansible Tower, Satellite, Authentication services, Virtualisation technologies, and Linux Security Practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning skills.
  • Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or willingness to pursue within 90 days.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
