Job Title: Infrastructure Solution Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Firesoft People. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating infrastructure requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and collaborating with technical specialists to ensure service, security, and operational needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate infrastructure requirements and elements of business projects and requests
  • Apply good IT infrastructure practices to formulate solutions
  • Provide advice on, document, and plan delivery of solutions
  • Coordinate the implementation of designs to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with technical specialists to ensure service, security, and operational needs are met

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical design processes, including requirements gathering, design documentation, and implementation planning
  • Experience in supporting project planning, delivery, and execution, including project management concepts
  • Familiarity with project budget and resource planning estimations
  • Ability to identify and report risks, as well as plan mitigation and resolution approaches
  • Demonstrated empathy towards others and a willingness to understand a diversity of goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cloud IaaS/PaaS Services such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with Cloud SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar
  • Driven the delivery of new technology initiatives or platforms, from requirements to production
  • Knowledge of distributed system concepts and scalability best practices
  • Knowledge of application architecture and design principles, e.g., microservices, containerization
