Salary Range

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our team. The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on experience.

Job Description

This role involves designing and optimizing infrastructure solutions for clients, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. As a Cloud Infrastructure Design Specialist, you will be integral in developing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions using virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure components including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend technology solutions that meet business needs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Architect are highly desirable.
