Job Title: Infrastructure Solution Designer

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Solution Designer to join our team at Firesoft People. As an Infrastructure Solution Designer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating infrastructure requirements and elements of business projects and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate infrastructure requirements and elements of business projects and requests
• Apply good IT infrastructure practices, functionality, and efficiency to formulate solutions
• Provide advice on, document, and plan delivery of these solutions
• Coordinate the implementation of designs to ensure a high-quality solution goes into production

Requirements:

• Experience in technical design processes, including requirements gathering, generating design documentation, and implementation planning
• Familiarity with project management concepts and experience in supporting project planning, delivery, and execution
• Ability to identify and report risks, as well as plan mitigation and resolution approaches
• Empathy towards others and a willingness to understand a diversity of goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud IaaS/PaaS services, such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with cloud SaaS platforms, such as ServiceNow or Salesforce
• Knowledge of distributed system concepts, scalability best practices, and application architecture and design principles
• Interest in emerging technologies within and outside the infrastructure space
