Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Civil Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This role will involve working on various civil, solid waste and environmental related projects. Key responsibilities include applying knowledge of engineering principles and practices, completing designs using AutoCAD drafting software, preparing engineering calculations and reports, and representing the company at meetings and conferences.

Field work will be performed in varied terrain and weather conditions, while office-based tasks will include AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, business development, proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry-related conferences and trade shows.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of civil engineering design experience is required, with solid waste related experience being a plus.
  • E.I.T. certification is required, while P.E. certification is preferred.
  • Experience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software is necessary.
