Senior Civil Project Engineer

Civil engineers play a pivotal role in designing and implementing solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Apply fundamental engineering principles to various solid waste assignment areas.
- Utilize 2D and 3D drafting software to complete designs efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.
- Makes informed decisions independently on engineering problems and methods.
- Field work requires traversing varied terrain and weather conditions.
- Office tasks include AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans, facility diagrams, permit applications, etc.
- Business development involves proposal preparation, client meetings, and industry-related conference attendance.
- Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
- A minimum of four years of civil engineering design experience is necessary, with solid waste related experience being advantageous.
- E.I.T. certification is mandatory, while P.E. licensure is preferred.
- Experience with 3D design software is highly valued.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
