Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Project Civil Engineer, you will work on various civil, solid waste and environmental projects.

About the Role
  • You will apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas and related fields.
  • Complete designs using 2D and Civil 3D AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, etc.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.
  • Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plan and coordinate work, and represent us at meetings and conferences.
  • Field work performed in varied terrain and weather will be required.
  • Office based tasks including: AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, etc.
  • Business development including: proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry related conferences/trade shows.
  • Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering design experience required. Solid waste related experience is a plus.
  • E.I.T. required, P.E. preferred.
  • Experience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
