Market Operations Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Market Operations Specialist to join our Global Banking and Markets team in Sydney. As a front-to-back market-aligned operations specialist, you will develop a thorough understanding of the markets and settlement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade allocation, matching, and confirmation
  • Settlements management, including prematching, inventory management, and fail investigations
  • Assess market changes and present the impacts, recommendations to the business and Operations Management
  • Identify opportunities for improvements of settlement efficiency & control
Requirements:
  • General knowledge of cash equity/fixed income/Derivative products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – essential for interacting at all levels, across business disciplines and regions
  • Self-motivated, driven, and strong team player
  • Strong technical / analytical / problem-solving skills
