Empowering Independence: Disability Support Specialist

This position involves working with individuals who have disabilities, providing quality services and support to enable them to live independently and confidently.
The role may involve:
- Assisting clients in building on their strengths and achieving their goals.
- Supporting community access and transport.
- Providing domestic and personal care.
Hours of work vary and include weekday shifts and weekend shifts. Penalty rates apply on weekends, public holidays, after 8pm and after 12am.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Providing high-quality services and supports to individuals with disabilities.
- Developing and implementing strategies that promote independence and confidence.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent and minimum 12 months experience.
- A background in supporting clients integrating into the community from the justice system.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- NDIS worker screening check.
- Employee Working with Children Check.
- Valid Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desirable).
