Job Role: Maintenance Professional

Our organization seeks a skilled and experienced maintenance professional to join our team at InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent repair and maintenance skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the hotel, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for colleagues and guests by adhering to regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and other team members to achieve common objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in general building maintenance and/or construction.
  • Prior hotel maintenance/engineering experience is desirable.
  • A good understanding of products and equipment used throughout the working day.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Capacity to lift, push, and pull objects up to 23 kg.
