Medical Equipment Specialist



About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare. As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will provide equipment maintenance and technical support functions under limited supervision.

You will work with a small team in a dedicated area, carrying out acceptance testing, calibration, maintenance, repair, development, education, documentation, and other technical support services related to medical technology.

The role involves working with both medical and scientific instrumentation, including electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of medical equipment
  • Carrying out acceptance testing and calibration
  • Providing technical support services
  • Developing educational materials and conducting training sessions

Requirements

  • Possess an Associate Diploma in Electronics (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in repair and maintenance of electronics equipment
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards relating to medical equipment
  • Current NSW driver's license
