Tourism and Events Educator

The successful appointee will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum within the Tourism and Event Management discipline.
Main Responsibilities:- Teaching Excellence: Deliver high-quality management subjects at both undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, ensuring content remains current and engaging.
- Subject Coordination: Oversee subject delivery to maintain alignment with industry standards and foster a culture of excellence.
- Industry Partnerships: Develop collaborative relationships between the School and relevant industry partners to enhance professional connections and student employability.
- Academic Qualifications: PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Demonstrate expertise in teaching, subject coordination, and curriculum development, with evidence of innovative initiatives that have improved the student experience.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Showcase leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively, and a track record of fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
