Tourism and Event Management Lecturer

">Description:

The La Trobe Business School is seeking an academic to join our team in the Tourism and Event Management discipline.

This role will play a key part in developing and enhancing the curriculum, with a focus on teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The successful appointee will be responsible for coordinating and delivering subjects, ensuring that content remains current, engaging, and aligned with industry standards.

In addition, the appointee will foster collaborative relationships between the School and relevant industry partners, strengthening professional connections and enhancing student employability.

A key aspect of this role is the pursuit of scholarly research contributing to learning and teaching practices within the Tourism and Event Management discipline, supporting innovation and academic excellence.

The appointee will be expected to demonstrate competence in teaching, subject coordination, and curriculum development, as well as evidence of innovative initiatives undertaken in the last three years that have improved the student experience.

Furthermore, the appointee will be able to engage with the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT).
