Tourism And Event Management Professor

We are seeking a lecturer to contribute to the development of our curriculum in Tourism and Event Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching management subjects at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
The successful appointee must have experience in teaching management and subject coordination. They will also be expected to foster and maintain collaborative relationships between relevant industry partners to enhance student employability.
A further expectation of the role is the pursuit of scholarly research that contributes meaningfully to the advancement of learning and teaching practices within the Tourism and Event Management discipline.
- PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
- Demonstrated competence in teaching, subject coordination and curriculum development.
- Evidence of innovative initiatives undertaken in recent years that have improved the student experience, and the evaluation of effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT).
