Tourism and Event Management Academic

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Tourism and Event Management Academic. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, coordinating subjects, and fostering collaborative relationships between the School and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging curricula that align with industry standards, ensuring students receive a current and relevant education.
- Cultivate and maintain strong connections between the School and industry partners to enhance student employability and promote professional growth.
- Pursue scholarly research that contributes meaningfully to the advancement of learning and teaching practices within the Tourism and Event Management discipline.
- Hold a PhD or equivalent accreditation, recognized by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
- Demonstrate expertise in teaching, subject coordination, and curriculum development.
- Evidence innovative initiatives undertaken in the last three years that improved the student experience and demonstrate evaluation of effectiveness.
- Display ability to engage with the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT).
