Urban Greening Specialist

**Department Overview**: Our department focuses on creating sustainable and eco-friendly urban environments.

We are currently seeking a visionary Urban Greening Specialist to join our team. As the key person responsible for driving our urban greening initiatives, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve our mission of transforming Adelaide into a greener city.

Our Urban Greening Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Strategize and lead key urban greening projects across metropolitan Adelaide
  • Inspire and influence internal and external partners to champion urban greenery
  • Deliver results that increase canopy cover, reduce urban heat, improve biodiversity, and enhance liveability
  • Collaborate with councils, community groups, contractors, and experts
  • Evaluate project success and make recommendations for future improvements

You will bring a rare mix of strategic vision, technical expertise, and people-first leadership to everything you do. Your roots may be in landscape architecture, urban planning, ecology, or environmental science, but your impact is always felt far and wide.

**Key Requirements**: Proven experience in leading urban greening or nature-based infrastructure projects, strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, collaborative spirit, and deep love for nature.
