Urban Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Planning Specialist to lead innovative projects that shape the future of our city.

This role will involve driving precinct master planning and strategic property initiatives, championing urban design responses that enhance community wellbeing, and partnering with stakeholders to bring bold, people-focused projects to life.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Strategic Infrastructure Planning, or Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in precinct and master planning, urban design, and property redevelopment.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic property management, investment strategies, and placemaking.
  • Skills in spatial and digital planning tools, with the ability to translate data into innovative design outcomes.
  • A collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A current driver's licence and flexibility to attend some after-hours meetings.

The Details

This position is offered on a 6 month part-time fixed term basis (0.6 FTE) and is classified at Level 7, with a salary range of $123,152 - $130,596 per annum (pro-rata) + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
