Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator to lead and direct all functions within the assigned area of Production within our distribution centre. The role is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate store personnel and teams to ensure efficient picking, packing, and order fulfillment across distribution centre zones.
  • Manage department operations and policies to maintain warehouse standards, quality control, and meet performance targets.
  • Oversee maintenance and use of equipment and technology in the department, including automation systems, MHE, and warehouse management tools.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of LEAN concepts and their application in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in safety protocols, people management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in information technology, including warehouse management systems.
