Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our critical logistics operations. This full-time, permanent role will see you playing a key part in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods across our national transport network.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of logistics coordinators and drivers to ensure timely and cost-effective dispatch and delivery of freight
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling and optimisation of transport routes and resources to meet KPIs
  • Monitor and report on transport metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all transport operations are compliant with relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored logistics solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in a senior logistics or supply chain management role, ideally within the freight industry
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics planning, scheduling and operations management
  • Strong commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
