Job Role:

The Event Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our events and hospitality operations.

This exciting opportunity requires an energetic and dynamic individual with previous experience in managing large teams in event logistics environments.

As the Event Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for supervising, guiding, and assisting the Events Logistics team to deliver perfect event flow on the day.

You will proactively manage the event floor staff across Logistics and liaise closely with our guests and clients to ensure a seamless experience.

The Event Logistics Manager will work to accommodate a range of events such as conventions, exhibitions, functions, galas, and weddings.

  • Supervise, guide, and assist the Logistics team with on-the-job training and development.
  • Proactively oversee and manage the Event Floor service flow and maintain performance standards.
  • Follow instructions given by the Floor Manager daily for smooth business operations.
  • Continuously monitor the work of team members during shifts.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience within a high-volume events space or convention centre.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, build productive working relationships, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideally, hold a Forklift Licence or have a willingness to obtain one.
  • A Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation is also preferred.
  • Flexible availability to work the hours whenever events happen.
