Job Title: Account Specialist

A key professional is needed to assist the Senior Accounts Receivable and Financial Accounting team in achieving financial precision and emotional intelligence, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding accounts while maintaining respectful communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Debt Collection by generating and maintaining Debtors' Reports across all business lines, monitoring overdue accounts, initiating follow-ups, liaising with internal AR team and external debt collection agencies, communicating recommendations and outcomes to management.
  • Process payments via phone and bank statements, accurately allocating payments to appropriate accounts.
  • Support residents and families with account queries, respond to general AR-related inquiries with professionalism and empathy, provide backup support to team members when required.
  • Handle correspondence, filing, and other administrative tasks, perform other duties as directed by the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer or Team Lead.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in debt collection and accounts receivable.
  • Proven technical competence and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and discretion.
