ICT Project Manager Job Description

As a seasoned ICT project manager, you will lead the delivery of projects within our Digital Solutions portfolio.

The role involves managing project planning, governance, financials, risk, and reporting in accordance with our ICT Delivery Framework.

You will be responsible for building strong partnerships with project sponsors, stakeholders, SMEs, suppliers, and senior executives.

Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ICT and business projects on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.
  • Manage project scope, planning, budget control, risk management, and reporting.
  • Define and manage procurement activities, contracts, and vendor relationships as required.
  • Ensure change management and business readiness activities enable smooth adoption of project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline is essential.
  • Substantial experience as a project manager delivering ICT projects is required.
  • Project management certification, such as Agile or PRINCE2, is necessary.
  • Strong skills in project planning, budget control, risk management, and reporting are essential.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery approaches is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives, users, suppliers, and stakeholders is required.
