About the Role

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes in accordance with established hotel standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop menus that showcase creativity and flair.
  • Delivering exceptional customer satisfaction through impeccable food presentation and quality.
  • Maintaining stock levels and ensuring cost-effectiveness through efficient ordering practices.
  • Providing training and guidance to junior kitchen staff on dish preparation and ingredient handling.
Requirements
  • AQF Diploma in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar culinary role, or 3 years in a related position.
  • Superior work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
