Our prestigious hotel chain is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in a great location.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to our high standards
- Creation of menus that showcase creativity, innovation, and consideration of stock, season, and patron preferences
- Ensuring exceptional patron satisfaction and experience by delivering dishes to exacting expectations
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Implementation of effective food preservation and rotation strategies to minimize wastage
- Assisting and training kitchen staff in dish preparation and ingredients
- Aiding in the selection and training of new kitchen staff members
- Effective management of kitchen staff to achieve optimal performance
- Ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times among all kitchen and waiting staff
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- An AQF Diploma in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, or a minimum of 3 years in a similar role

- Friendly and approachable personality
Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery, experience in a premium restaurant or banquet kitchen, enthusiasm and creativity in providing high-quality cuisine, understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP, availability to work weekends and public holidays within a rotating roster, well-presented, punctual, reliable, organized, able to prioritize, and passionate about quality food.
