Aspiring In-House Counsel Role
Established as a premier legal services provider, we are seeking a highly motivated Solicitor Level 2 to join our team in Melbourne CBD. This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior solicitor to provide professional and efficient legal advisory services and advocacy to support the Commissioner of State Revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advisory services and advocacy to support the Commissioner of State Revenue
- Conducting litigation and advice case-load with supportive legal supervision
- Preparing and conducting cases for litigation at VCAT and the Courts
Requirements:
- Admitted as an Australian lawyer
- Between 1-3 years' post-admission employment experience as an Australian lawyer in the public or private sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and adept at working in a hybrid legal environment
