The Opportunity
This is a standout opportunity for a commercially savvy lawyer to join the in-house legal team of a nationally recognised and ASX-listed financial services organisation with a reputation for innovation and excellence.
If you're a corporate or financial services lawyer looking to escape the long hours of private practice — without compromising on the quality of your work — this is your opportunity.
You'll work in a close-knit legal team that values collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. Reporting directly to the Counsel, you will provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice across a diverse range of matters while deepening your commercial and regulatory expertise.
This is a great role for someone ready to take that next step in-house, or for an existing in-house lawyer seeking a broader scope, a more engaging culture, or stronger alignment with leadership.
On Offer
Work across a broad spectrum of legal areas including corporate governance, consumer credit, financial services regulation, and marketing law;
Work a regular Monday to Friday week – no late nights, no weekend work – in a team that values life outside of the office;
Review and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documentation, including loan agreements and sponsorships;
Collaborate with business teams on product development and regulatory training initiatives;
Assist in managing contentious matters such as complaints, court documentation, and dispute resolution;

About You
You will have :
At least 4 years' post-admission experience in corporate, commercial, or banking and finance law, ideally with exposure to financial services regulation;
A collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow within a high-performing, values-driven legal team.
