Senior Dairy Stockperson

This position plays a vital role in the success of our dairy production team.

The successful applicant will have:

  • AQF Certificate III in Agriculture / Dairy Production (or higher equivalent)
  • Three (3) years of recent and relevant work experience

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating all aspects of the milk production process, managing milking shed routines, and implementing reproductive programs. The ideal candidate will also have strong analytical skills and be able to maintain accurate records for stock and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and coordinate all aspects of the milk production process
  2. Manage milking shed routines and implement reproductive programs
  3. Maintain accurate records for stock and inventory control
  4. Supervise work routines and staff performance
  5. Implement quality assurance procedures
  6. Operate milking plant and equipment safely
  7. Assist with or perform irrigation works
  8. Inspect livestock to evaluate feed effectiveness
  9. Handle and store chemicals safely
