Tenure : Full-time, Permanent

Comprehensive salary package from $76,515 pa (plus superannuation)

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture or higher equivalent
  • At least 3 years recent relevant work experience

Position Summary :

On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Dairy Farmer with strong communication and time management skills. The candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the farm with minimal supervision from farm owners, such as general operation management, pasture management, milk harvesting, feeding, administrative tasks, and maintenance.

The role may involve leading a small team and training new team members.

This is a full-time position that may require weekend work and occasional unplanned hours as needed.

Additional Skills Required :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of animal husbandry, animal welfare legislation, dairy production, and OH&S standards
  • Proficiency in computer software is an advantage
