Key Responsibilities

  • Invoicing: Gather and process cargo information for wharfage, port dues, and marine services.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain regular shipping and cargo data reports, highlighting key financial and statistical insights.
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of databases related to pricing, port dues, and wharfage.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with stevedores, ships' agents, and internal teams to gather information for reporting and data analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Support continuous improvements to invoicing systems and contribute to enhancing reporting processes.
  • Support: Provide cross-training and assist other corporate administration staff during high workloads.


Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in senior administration or financial processing roles.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems, with knowledge of accounting and audit processes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within the shipping or transport industries is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: A current driver's license is required.
