As a senior energy analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy. This involves leading the design and evolution of an annual demand and energy forecasting framework.
Your Key Responsibilities- You will lead the delivery of accurate and strategically relevant demand and energy forecasts.
- You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and respond to evolving energy requirements.
- You will develop future-focused demand and energy forecast scenarios that support decarbonisation and climate resilience.
Key tasks include:
- Generating credible projections for renewable energy adoption and emerging technology uptake across energy systems.
- Providing analytical expertise to support strategic initiatives within the energy planning team as needed.
- Managing direct reports and demonstrating strong team leadership and mentoring capabilities.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, commerce, economics or related disciplines.
- Extensive experience in modelling and data analysis within commercial or business environments.
- A proven ability to work with and interpret large datasets to generate meaningful insights.
