Job Overview
We are seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled professionals to join our Board in navigating the complex National Electricity Market landscape. The appointee will work closely with the Chairperson, Board, and executive team to ensure a balance between commercial excellence and public interest obligations.
About Us
We are Australia's largest producer of renewable energy and largest water manager. For over a century, we have powered Tasmania's communities and economy through clean, hydropower generation.
Your Key Responsibilities
Demonstrated senior experience in energy trading, retailing, power system operations or major asset project development, operations and maintenance, with a sound understanding of NEM dynamics
Proven track record in senior executive or board roles in utilities, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
Strong commercial and financial management experience
High standard of integrity and demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct in corporate governance
Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing complex operational, market or asset risks
About You
You'll be a professional of impeccable integrity, with an established reputation as a strategic leader in the energy sector. Sophisticated stakeholder engagement skills, collaborative style, and commitment to safety and sustainability will be essential skills and personal qualities.
What We Offer
