Key Responsibilities
  • Define technical requirements for distributed energy resources through engineering and analysis leadership.
  • Develop solutions to address power system challenges caused by increasing DER, including standards, compliance, and evolving consumer behaviour.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to create innovative solutions supporting a power system with high levels of DER.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to establish company positions on technical requirements.
  • Create reports, recommendations, and presentations that clearly communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
  • Promote technical excellence and mentor junior staff to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Technology or Science/Maths (with a focus on power systems).
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects related to distributed energy.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication across various stakeholder groups.
