The company offers a permanent position for a Port Electrician in Darwin. In this role, you will be responsible for managing electrical services to the Port of Darwin's buildings, plant, equipment and facilities.

Key duties include:

  • Inspecting electrical infrastructure to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained;
  • Arranging and undertaking inspections of electrical infrastructure;
  • Managing the provision and maintenance of electrical services;

You will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional electrical experience;
  • Substantial exposure to large industrial operations (e.g. bulk materials handling);
  • Proven experience in programming, fault finding, and modifying;
  • Experience in Programmable Logic Control systems (PLC's);
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments for work to be undertaken;

The benefits package includes:

  • An attractive base salary for a permanent position with regular Monday to Friday (37.5) working hours;
  • A trade allowance;
  • A tool allowance;
  • 5 weeks of annual leave;
  • 15 days of accrued personal leave;
  • 12% superannuation;
