Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to provide critical support to clinical staff in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role is responsible for ensuring that equipment and resources are available for neonatal care, thereby facilitating optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning, disinfecting, and servicing clinical equipment used in direct neonatal care.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels of consumables and equipment in designated NICU areas, minimizing delays and interruptions to patient care.
  • Report equipment faults or breakages and coordinate repairs in a timely manner, thereby maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Prepare admission spaces and respiratory support devices for incoming neonatal patients, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient care.
  • Support urgent deliveries and collections from pathology and pharmacy departments, demonstrating exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Assist in the safe transfer of infants to other departments, showcasing a commitment to patient safety and well-being.
About You / Qualifications
  • Experience in hospital or healthcare cleaning, with a focus on infection prevention and control protocols.
  • Ability to train in specialized equipment maintenance, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
