Job Summary

A dynamic and collaborative opportunity exists for an experienced neonatal nurse to drive innovative educational programs, guiding new staff through onboarding and fostering ongoing professional development. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of neonatal nursing, contributing to improved patient outcomes and elevating family experiences.

This specialist position offers a comprehensive orientation and tailored education to ensure your success in this role. You will work closely with the NICU team to promote family-centred care, collaborate on quality improvement projects, and engage in ongoing training and leadership development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based educational programs to support clinical best practice.
  • Mentor and guide staff during their NICU journey, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
  • Support the implementation of service improvements and contribute to the advancement of neonatal nursing.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with full registration and relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Post-graduate qualification in education or willingness to pursue one.
