Requirements
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant state or territory regulatory authority.
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a NICU or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at John Hunter Children's Hospital is one of the largest and busiest NICUs in NSW, providing Intensive Care support for newborns requiring medical and surgical care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
