Neonatal Education Specialist

This pivotal position offers an inspiring opportunity to shape the future of neonatal nursing by designing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs for new staff and experienced clinicians in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will work closely with the NICU Nurse Educator and the Manager of Newborn Services to receive tailored education and support for success in this specialized role.
About the PositionOur Neonatal Intensive Care Unit delivers world-class medical and surgical care to sick and preterm infants, supporting families from across the region. You will be part of a collaborative team that fosters professional development and contributes to improved outcomes for vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities- Guide new staff as they begin their NICU journey and foster ongoing professional growth and development of experienced clinicians.
- Support the delivery of clinical best practice, elevate patient and family experiences, and contribute to improved health outcomes for our most vulnerable patients.
- Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration and post-registration qualifications in education or equivalent experience.
- Post-graduate qualification in education or willingness to pursue further study.
