Job Opportunity: Construction Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Team Lead to oversee construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring construction work is completed on schedule.
- Manage and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks to ensure team members are aware of safety protocols and best practices.
- Delegate tasks effectively to team members, prioritizing workload to meet project deadlines.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
- Participate in hands-on landscaping and other construction activities as required.
- Report to the Project Manager, providing updates on project progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Horticulture (or equivalent).
- 2-3 years' experience as a qualified Tradesman, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read plans and manage a small crew.
- Valid Driver's License.
