IT Support Technician Role

We are seeking highly skilled IT professionals to provide first-line support to our team members across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective IT support contact for all employees.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution or escalate to the respective manager.
  • Log all incidents and service requests in our service desk system as a case.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple open cases at one time.
  • Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns.
  • Repair equipment and replace parts to maximise equipment life.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

Requirements:

  • Relevant IT qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills for resolving store issues.
  • Experience with diagnosing hardware issues.
  • BASIC understanding of networking topologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude towards continuous improvement.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team or autonomously.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure.
  • Experience with remote technical support.
