Job Title: Clinical Speech Pathology Leader

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Speech Pathology Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished clinician with a proven track record of providing clinical leadership, expertise and education to admitted teams.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated current clinical knowledge, expertise and advanced skill in the management of adult dysphagia and communication disorders within a healthcare setting with evidence of leadership within a clinical environment.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in areas such as tracheostomy, laryngectomy, Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES), and/or videofluoroscopy.
  • Proven experience in leading, initiating and completing quality initiatives, service evaluation and/or research projects.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and guide teams and individuals.
  • Extensive experience in clinical teaching and supervision for students and allied health staff.
  • Experience in coordinating and/or facilitating in-servicing at a department level.
