About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to lead our Speech Therapy Team. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions to patients with complex communication and feeding needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Determining client conditions using standardised tools to create tailored treatment plans based on your expertise.
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans considering client factors, age, abilities, and medical/physical aspects.
- Maintaining high standards of service delivery and clinical excellence as a role model for the team.
- Coaching and mentoring the Speech Therapy team to enhance service quality.
- Conducting regular 1:1 meetings to develop therapists' skills and guiding them towards external training opportunities.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist who possesses excellent clinical skills and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) qualification from an accredited institution.
- Current registration/membership with the relevant professional association.
- Experience in managing complex caseloads, assessment, and treatment plan development, supervision of staff or volunteers (preferably in a paediatric setting).
- Strong clinical experience (minimum 3 years postgraduate).
