Job Title: Community Football Growth Manager

About the Role:

The Participation Lead plays a pivotal role in enhancing community football participation in the Cairns region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver core programs such as NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick within community football clubs and schools.

  • Implement strategies to drive growth, transition, and retention across NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick school programs into junior club football.

  • Lead quality control measures throughout all participation programs.

  • Support Regional Lead – North Queensland with regional execution of participation strategy.

  • Mentor and support AFL Cairns Participation Coordinators.

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience.

  • Proven ability to train and mentor staff.

  • Strong organisation and planning skills.

  • Fun and enthusiastic nature.

  • Possession of strong stakeholder engagement skills.
