Key Responsibilities:Production Management
  • Project Coordination: Oversee all aspects of production for contract projects, aligning with project timelines and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficient production processes.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor production schedules and resource allocation, addressing any issues that arise to prevent delays.
Contract Coordination
  • Client Liaison: Manage contract terms related to production, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding production-related inquiries, providing updates on progress and resolving concerns.
  • Integration: Collaborate with internal departments (R&D, Sales, Logistics) to integrate production capabilities into project planning and execution.
Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Ensure efficient supply chain operations by coordinating logistics for materials and finished products.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with Procurement to align materials and resources with production schedules and project requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Address production bottlenecks or quality issues swiftly, maintaining focus on cost-effectiveness and client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure all products meet Australian standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to address any quality concerns that arise during production.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and energy-saving schemes in Australia.
Cost Management
  • Budget Development: Develop and manage production budgets, tracking expenditures to ensure projects remain financially viable.
  • Cost Savings: Identify opportunities for cost savings through improved production practices and supplier negotiations.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Team Leadership and Communication
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Communication: Streamline communication between production, R&D, Logistics, and Sales to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Meetings: Organize and lead meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on project objectives and timelines.
Requirements
  • MBA or Equivalent: MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in production management, with at least 1 year of experience in contract projects within the lighting or manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in project coordination, quality control, and supply chain logistics. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Languages: Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) for effective communication with suppliers and clients.
Working Conditions
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to supplier and factory locations may be required.
  • Deadlines: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this salary estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
