Leadership Position Overview

As an Assistant Director, you will be part of the vital relationship between educators, families, and children, working together to create lasting and meaningful connections.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe and secure environment where children can grow and develop.
  • Build lasting relationships with families to ensure they feel informed and supported in their child's education and care.
  • Contribute to the development of an exceptional culture of quality and safety that makes your centre the choice in the community.
Requirements
  • A completed Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (or working towards it).
  • Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a leadership role or management role.
  • Ability to work full-time and flexible shifts.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Good understanding of child protection principles and practices.
