The Trade Desk, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Business Development team as an Associate Director.

As a key member of our team, you will specialize in finding, building, and growing strategic partnerships with innovative advertisers and agencies across Australia.

You will identify, form, and strengthen relationships through trust-building with client partners, from CEOs and Heads of Digital to investment and activation executives.

You will actively listen, meet clients where they are on their digital journey, and add value by solving complex problems with simplified solutions.

  • Foster relationships with senior leaders at independent advertising agencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to cultivate and grow accounts.
  • Present the value of The Trade Desk's media buying platform, tailoring content to suit each audience's needs.
  • Develop strategic frameworks to encourage testing of innovative product releases based on client needs.
  • Lead RFP responses or new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategy.
  • Prospect and negotiate net new MSAs (partnership contracts) and JBPs (Joint Business Plans) with agency partners.
  • Coordinate with global counterparts to discover learnings and avoid pitfalls encountered on similar pieces of business.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to optimize efforts related to company-wide goals.
  • Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs.
  • Use market knowledge to develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
